There are two ways to retrieve logs.
Save the logs on the flash ROM in the device, and retrieve it through a remote command via neqto Console.
Connect the device to a local PC using a serial connection, enter User Console Mode, and view the real-time logs.
Retrieving Logs With the neqto Console via Remote Commands
The neqto Bridge has the ability to store logs on the flash ROM of the device. Using a remote command, logs stored on the flash ROM can be uploaded to the neqto Console. Once the log is successfully uploaded to the console, it is deleted from the flash ROM.
Select the desired node from the neqto Console Web UI and select 'Get Debug Log'.
The device will then upload the log data to the neqto Console.
Download the log data.
Open the log data file in a text editor and check the logs.
Check Real-Time Logs Using the User Console Mode
Complete the initial set-up for the neqto Bridge device. Review the neqto Bridge Wi-Fi Module initial set-up settings or neqto Bridge LTE-M Module initial set-up settings instructions, and complete the set-up.
Boot in the User Console Mode
The neqto Bridge device's system LED will light up purple.
Start up TeraTerm, and open a COM port. Open the COM port that was generated during the initial set-up.
Set the serial port and terminal settings as shown below.
User Console Mode will boot up, and by hitting the enter key a prompt will appear. If a prompt does not appear, unplug the USB cable from the PC and start again from Step 1.
Entering the start command will start the neqto service. If the log settings are set to allow neqto Console output, logs will be output to the terminal.
